A whole series.
One production mind.
From the idea to the interview. From multiple cameras to the final cut. An independently delivered production exploring alternative medicine through conversations, people and place.

Creative judgment.
Complete delivery.
I developed ideas, directed, filmed and edited the series, independently managing two to three cameras and sound during long interviews. The work combined sustained conversations, treatment demonstrations and supporting footage with the editorial task of shaping material into individual episodes.
At the Asante Chinese Academy, three intensive filming days generated 22 episodes. The wider body of work also included five on-camera episodes and four multi-part therapy interviews.
What I carried through the production +
Ideas & direction
Developing episode ideas and the visual approach, then translating them into a practical production with people, interviews and locations.
Independent multi-camera production
Managing two to three cameras alongside sound and the needs of a long interview, while capturing the material required for the edit.
Editorial structure & finishing
Reviewing extended conversations, shaping the story and pacing, and editing the material into a series of finished films.
A wider visual world
Creating photography alongside the moving-image work, capturing both the people and the atmosphere surrounding the series.
A trailer.
A story of its own.
I created this film on my own initiative as a trailer. It became the main piece for the Healing Hunter YouTube channel.
Beyond the
interview.
